The deal, up front

Here is what you get and what to expect, in plain words. This is a pilot: free, as is, with no warranties and no liability as far as the law allows. You see these terms in writing, in a short pilot agreement, before you accept.

• 01This is a pilot.Every pilot is an experimental proof of concept, not production software. It is tested on sample data to show whether the idea works for you.
• 02Free and as is.The pilot is free and comes as is, with no warranties. Test it yourself before any real use. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for what happens if you use it.
• 03Clear expectations.We can't promise results. Anything not listed in a pilot's scope is not included. Extra work is quoted separately, and only if you ask.
• 04Businesses only.Pilots are for businesses, not consumers, and not for pharma or healthcare businesses.
• 05Sample data only.No real customer data during the pilot. We work from your public info and non-personal documents such as FAQs, price lists and policies.
• 06How you help us move fast.Your info and tool access within 2 working days, one person who makes decisions, and feedback within 2 working days, or the timeline moves.
• 07Your accounts, no surprise costs.Accounts are in your own name. Any paid tools are on you, and we tell you before anything costs money.
• 08We keep the rights.Knowva Labs keeps the rights to the code and what we deliver. Your content, data and brand stay yours.
• 09You keep a licence, for good.A free, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use and change what we build for your own business. You can't sell, resell or sublicense it.
• 10Nothing shown without your OK.We only show the project, screenshots or a case study after you approve the final version in writing. Email is fine, and you can withdraw it for future use.
• 11Honest testimonials, clearly labelled.Any testimonial is your honest opinion, in your words, and you never have to give a positive one. It is labelled "Received a free pilot from Knowva Labs". We never write, pay for or swap reviews.
• 12How it ends.We show you the build on a demo call. You then have 3 working days to approve it or tell us what doesn't work. We email you a reminder before that time runs out, and it only counts as approved after that reminder. We fix that in one round of changes.
• 13Never included.Paid tools or API costs, subscriptions, hosting after handover, live customer data or production set-up, custom design or branding, writing beyond samples, more than one handover call, ongoing support, more than one round of changes, legal or compliance advice.

Paid projects only: if you continue to a paid project, that work is separate from the pilot and comes with all bugs fixed free for 1 year after delivery. Free pilots are not covered.

Includes a 12-month free bug-fix warranty: if the delivered work doesn't do what this quote specifies, we'll fix it free. This excludes new features, third-party/API changes, client edits and hosting. Free pilots are not covered.
